                Background:
                The
                Lake Chelan Boat Company offers year round service for hikers, campers and
                tourists to access the beautifully scenic area surrounding Lake Chelan in Cental
                Washington State.During the high season of June 15th through September 15th, 
                both the Lady Express and the Lady of the Lake II run, providing multiple travel options.
                During slower periods of the year, the Lady Express provides a nice day trip of just 6 hours
                including the layover in Stehekin.
                Areas served are Chelan, Field's Point, Stehekin, Lucerne (port of Holden Village),
                and other flag stop points along Lake Chelan.
                
                
                Challenge:
                The transportation service offers a variety of launch points and destinations, and
                a variety of fees associated with bringing luggage or cargo associated with camping, hiking or hunting.
                
                Solution:
                The
                Lake Chelan Boat Company turned to New Concepts Software, Inc. for a ticketing
                and point of sale solution based on their popular Tick-It! Trak Pro technology.
                Working closely with their staff, NCS deployed the Trak Pro system.
                
                
                The simplicity and visual nature of the ticketing sales function made training the
                staff quick and easy. 
                
                Future possible improvements are Website Sales, and wireless barcode ticket validation using
                Mobile Devices
                and the Trak Pro Validation Module.
