The FM Jets host their home games in the John E. Carlson Coliseum.  This arena has an over all capacity of about 4,200 seats, with approximately 1,000 of those being reserved seating.

The FM Jets typically play 18-25 games per season for its Junior Hockey League, with annual paid attendance of over 20,000 patrons.

Plans are to employ the Validation Module for scanning tickets upon entry, and to run the concession stand areas in the Arena that serve popcorn, hot dogs and other fare typical of snack bars.

New System for 2004

For the 2004-2005 season, The Fargo-Moorhead Jets chose to stay in the NCS family and replace their Tick-It! 2K system with NCS's new program, Tick-It! Trak Pro.  The Trak Pro system provided a Point Of Sale (POS) for serialized ticketed entry, ticket validation and redemption, census head counting and transaction reporting.  The system proved to be a big improvement over the operations involved using the smaller scale Tick-It! 2K.  Phone orders could be processed, have seats assigned, tickets printed for pickup or delivery, and credit cards authorized while the customer's call was finished.  Seating Diagram from Trak Pro

Benefits for the 2004-2005 season are:

  • Direct Internet Ticketing via ASP Web Components by NCS

  • More Detailed reporting and control of cashier transactions

  • Integration of Customer Database, Ticket Sales and Marketing Data

  • More Detailed reporting for Marketing and Accounting usage

  • Reduced man hours for processing internet, phone and mail order sales

  • Recording and Tracking Souvenir and Concession Sales with Tick-It! Trak Pro

  • Improved Cash Flow, as Revenues from Tick-It! Trak Pro sales are available right away

Epilogue:

Unfortunately, the Fargo-Moorhead Jets elected to discontinue use of NCS products by implementing a policy of extreme of cost cutting.
